I remember when I was sitting at the opera, I didn’t have any problems with it, I did a printscreen and just inserted ctrl + V and the screenshot was inserted into the Googledocs document, now I’m sitting on chrome and this doesn’t work. Neither ctrl+v nor shift+ins.

You are probably mistaken, the opera does not work with a buffer in any form in Google Docs =) At least this is the only thing I miss after the release of Opera 11.5, before there were more problems.
