PascalABC.NET and FreePascal have a lower entry threshold than Python3?
I wanted to learn electronic poetry and began to choose YP. Somewhere on the forum I read that it is better to start with Java or Python. Chose Python. And I began to study. What angered me was the confusing mana in English. And especially the semantics of the language itself is incomprehensible. That is, I sort of understood, but thinking in Python is not yet possible. It was only possible to write primitive chess on it, some kind of whistle-blowing for columns from the library, and some kind of cycles for working with arrays. I write on it and get tired as if I write with my left hand, and not with my right.
Then I remembered that at the institute I loved doing laboratory work on turbopascal and helped many people, I liked it. I had the highest score in computer science. Such a simple conclusion. I downloaded abspascal. All installed and done. I tried. Well, it's a completely different matter! Like meeting an old friend. So fun, easy and enjoyable. Caught fire. Here I am sitting at work, waiting for the time when I will come home and sit down at the computer again.
P / S / I apologize for the lyrical digressions :)

the soul does not lie to the python - try ruby. Does not belong to ruby - c#, but you can also: java, c \ c ++, golang. do you want the web? php, js. You can poke everything in two days. if it's really drawn to Pascal, look towards dephi or lazarus.
