Partnering with a startup: experience, pros, cons?

We want to partner with a startup. Guess who has had this experience? or you know startups with really big clients/partners, in short, with a weighty "portfolio". I will also be grateful for links to articles on the topic.

When viewed as a counterweight to non-startup partnerships, startup partnerships are, on average, unreliable. Especially when you are a startup yourself. You need to partner, but don't expect results.
