Page not showing in Chrome

When using the Google Chrome browser on Ubuntu Linux 13.04, some pages are not displayed even when fully loaded in the browser. In this case, after duplicating the tab, everything falls into place, i.e. page appears. Can something be done about it?

Try disabling all extensions.
