Hi all. We are novice entrepreneurs and we faced the question of how to do bookkeeping online without high costs. Having felt a lot of services, we came to the conclusion that it is very convenient, but expensive. We decided to write for ourselves. What do you think is relevant? Or is it better to use an existing one?
Advantages of our own:
- we make it for ourselves
- for free
- you can finish the necessary functionality
- development experience (invaluable)
- knowledge of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation and reporting will appear
- the opportunity to grow into a startup (dreams)
- if the project works, you can help save money for the same beggars like us )
Cons:
- time and effort
- not all functions will be available initially, you will constantly have to edit and add something

Why what and online accounting is inexpensive. You yourself will still spend more time and there will be no integration with the tax office or with any verification of counterparties.

Strange, but for an individual entrepreneur, everything is simple, if not more than 30 payments per quarter. Then I spend:
- once a quarter 10 minutes to fill out a book
- once a quarter: 3 minutes to pay tax
- once a year: 1 hour to fill out a declaration
- once a year filing a declaration: half a day
- once a year visiting a pension fund: half a day
- once a year - payment of fees to the PFR: 15 minutes
Total 1.5 days for maintaining an IP.

Writing your own accounting system is, of course, a colossal experience, but just think - is this a priority for your business? I am sure that it takes a lot of time and it is unlikely that such labor costs will ever be justified.
In my opinion, after a year (almost) of using online accounting, its main advantage is the constant informing about any changes in legislation, the introduction of new reports and other "news" from the state.
