Outlook error when syncing calendars with iCloud?
I'm trying to set up iCloud calendar synchronization with Outlook 2016 for Windows 10. Installed iCloud for Windows, logged in. I create an event in the Outlook calendar at 08:00, in iCloud this event is created at 07:00. If you create an event in iPhone at 08:00, then in Outlook it will be an hour later - at 09:00.
I change the time zone in Windows to Riyadh - everything is displayed correctly, except for the actual time zone. If you specify a "floating" time zone in the event settings on the iPhone, then the event time is displayed correctly in Outlook.
Using MFCMAPI, I exported two events: one with a regular time zone, the second with a "floating" one. The difference in the fields suggests that the first event treats the time as local, indicating the offset by the name of the time zone, which is taken from the registry, the second - local, but UTC+3. I tried to change the time zone values in the registry, now when an event is created at 08:00 in Outlook, it is created in it at 09:00, but it leaves correctly in iCloud. That is, it now shifts inside Outlook.
