other device to play sound win7

In general, the problem is this. When connecting usb speakers (there is also 5.1 sound), I want to make them the default device, I put SPDIF or SPDIF2 output in the via hd audio panel - no result.
I put these same columns in the AIMP3 output device - everything is OK, it works. But here from the control panel does not want to. This is what I decided.

Can you do something to make the application X put the sound output on the usb speakers, and not on the general 5.1?

Via HD Audio is most likely your regular sound card, not the one you connect via USB. SPDIF has nothing to do with USB, so nothing worked. You can force application X to play through the speakers only if this application supports the choice of devices for playback (for example, VLC or, for example, CS: Source). If you watch movies on 5.1 speakers, then it makes sense to set USB by default and configure the players to play via Via HD Audio.
