OS X update

Should I upgrade my 2010 Macbook Pro 13' to OS X Lion?
I'm worried about the battery life, the overall stability of the system.
On SL up to 8 hours stably holds.
What do you say?

In my opinion yes. I have the same Macbook (I don't know which one you have, I have a Mid). Works without problems. I have not measured the battery life for a long time, I will have to look. Otherwise, Lion works just as well as SL for me.

I have Macbook 13 early 2008 C2D 2.1, 2.5Gb DDR2 works fine on Lion 10.7.2. Hours of operation have not changed.

Faced a number of incomprehensible problems on Pro17 / 2.9 / 4
- SMTP mail stopped working - I don’t like something in the server settings of the mailer
- printing on windows shared printer stopped working
- general brakes and frequent “rainbow” appeared in the system, although the percentage and pyamyat are quite sufficient
In general - damp.
