OS where only a web browser?
You need a workplace (AWP - workstation) based on linux + firefox, but in such a way that the user sees only a browser that automatically starts and opens to full screen. So that the user does not see any start panels and desktops, no shortcuts on the desktop, etc., only a browser that cannot be closed, and the OS image is loaded via TFTP from someone's router. Is there a turnkey solution in the world for our needs?
Thank you.

Everything is done quite simply. Already done for other needs. Xs are launched, but the windowed environment is not launched. It is necessary to turn off the loading of the environment, as it is done now, you need to look in a specific distribution. Or put ubuntu command line and install x only.
Then, in rc.local or the like, we prescribe the launch of firefox and a special program like watch dog (you can cron) - check once every 10 seconds whether firefox is running, if not - restart.
You can also google about Kiosk Mode.
You need to look for "linux kiosk" here, for example, webconverger.org
Not sure you'll find a solution with TFTP. But it's not hard to do it yourself.
porteus-kiosk.org , you can select the necessary modules for the image right on the site.
It can be loaded over the network or from a flash drive, hdd is not needed.
