OS not installed. What can be wrong?
I fell into the hands of a used laptop Acer travelmate 8573series. With Windows 10 on board. And everything is ok, everything works, but I wanted to put SSD instead of HDD. Was unnecessary in stocks and took it.
I recorded the Windows 10 image on a USB flash drive using the windows media creation tool (everything is as always) and started installing.
Installation hung at the stage with the Windows logo and the loading indicator (which hung)
Tried different flash drives, recorded in different ways (windows media creation tool, Rufus, ultraiso) - no results. Changed SATA Mode, changed USB ports (2.0, or 3.0)
Formatted ssd, booted via F12, disabled d2d Recovery, disabled Network Boot...
NOTHING HELPED. Bottom line, I thought that the time had come for this SSD and bought a new SSD.
I connected a new SSD - started installing Windows and again the problem - it comes to the moment of copying files and that's it. The cursor does not move, the laptop is dead.
Tried installing from disk. Turned off 1 of 2 RAM sticks in turn - nothing.
At the end said Linux Mint image. And also nothing. Hangs on the logo.
What to do? Update Bios? Stay on HDD? Don't know(

on a flash drive any winPE type Strelec + Windows image.
boot from it, try different installation options. Recently, for old systems, it normally works to mount the image and then install native setup directly from this image.
download QemuBootTester.exe, you can test whether the disk is loading after installation or not.
