Organization of a proxy server through VPN, possible options?

Доброго времени суток!
Примерная схема работы такова:
Клиент -> VPN Сервер -> Прокси -> Интернет
Клиентами будут выступать как и рабочие станции, так и мобильный устройства.
Требуется VPN сервер способный поддерживать свыше 4к одновременных сессий, желательно что б и прокси, и сам VPN сервер располагались вместе(в пределах одной ОС или на одном железе). С возможность масштабирования и отказоустойчивостью. Как софт или железо могли бы посоветовать на роль VPN?
Сейчас выбор пал на pfsense, но есть некие нюансы работы VPN с Android устройствами, а точнее отсутствия нормальной работы PPTP между pfsense и Android.

SEVPN - very heavily loads the processor. In this particular case, I do NOT recommend it. Try openvpn, but with so many connections, you should think about scaling, up to creating several VMs with vpn servers on one physical host, in the future this will provide greater flexibility, portability and scalability.

For such a number of sessions, accel-ppp and mpd5 will feel more or less tolerable, and then with hard tuning, but welcome to the world of hardware BRAS. Your pfsense will die before reaching 1K concurrent sessions.
