Oracle certificate (by java) for Android developer on Kotlin?

Is it worth it to try and get a java developer certificate from Oracle if I'm already programming for Android on kotlin?
Will this knowledge give me real profit?
Or already so, for the general development?

There are two answers here.
1. Some podcast (maybe it was "Radio Bermuda Triangle") discussed hiring programmers, the impact of certifications on the chance of being hired and on subsequent salary. And the hosts agreed that certificates are good when the interviewee just left the university, he has no real experience, but since there are certificates, this can be a good reason to invite for an interview . That's all, there are no other benefits.
2. A guy who moved to Europe (to the Netherlands, if my memory serves me) somehow unsubscribed on Habré, who received a certificate (in my opinion, just related to Java technologies), and said that his employer gives an increase for certain certifications. I can lie, but it seems that he also said that in his city (country?) an increase for certificates is a common phenomenon.
So decide what you want to benefit from it. If, as it is written in the comments: "At least it will be clear that you can not only use Kotlin" - then you should not waste your time and money; you either work with Java, know it, have worked on serious projects made on it and are ready to show it at the interview, or not, and no printed paper will help you here. If you already have an employer in sight who will give you more "tasty" conditions for having a certificate, or if his working conditions are equally wonderful for everyone, but at the same time he officially declares that having a certificate gives a serious increase in the chances of finding a job with him - go and get it.

Preparing for certification, you will upgrade yourself in technology, even if you think that there is nothing to surprise you already)
And in general, it is always profitable to invest in your education.

Watch where you work.
For some companies this is important.
I met in life - the opposite situation : an office with several developers, the most pompous and unskilled idiot in it was with a certificate, he was very proud of him and could do little in reality, compared to other employees (who are without certificates, but more qualified).
