You have to move between computers.
With passwords from sites, everything is clear.
But where to store FTP passwords?
What would be on the new machine, in a couple of clicks, to be on the ftp of your hosting
Options:
- Storing data in google docs, sending it to yourself by mail

I use the password store - keepassX, it's enough for me: in one keystroke, you can copy the address, then the login, then the password. Available for Windows, Linux, Mac, Android. I store the database on a flash drive, it is, of course, password-protected, in the same place the client is under the wines. Quite so comfortable
What's the problem then? Send yourself an email with passwords, or a document in Google Docs.
Such a letter can always be found by searching.
Ah, another great option then: store passwords in your head. Probably the most versatile ;)
Okay, I'll add the additions "No copy-pasting, and sending passwords to myself"
If 2 machines can't be compromised then www.truecrypt.org/ , I store everything there in a container and the laptop itself is fully encrypted too. I advise everyone.
Generate a password using a master password, there is no need to store anything, except for a script / program.
In Google it is possible to find from 10 implementations. For this I have a python script for Linux and a C # / WPF program for win.
