Operating system for frontend. Mac/Linux/Windows?

Hello. I plan to buy a laptop and the question arose whether it is worth changing the current system on which I work (ubuntu) to something else. In general, everything suits me on the current system. But if you take a laptop, you will either have to buy a licensed Windows or overpay for macOS. So I think it might be worth a try.
My question is addressed to those developers who work on Windows or macOS. Do you encounter work restrictions? I mean, do you have to do tambourine dancing when trying to raise/set up a project? Git/Jenkins/Node?

There are problems on any system and in any system all problems can be solved.
Choose any - there is absolutely no difference.
Personally, I would recommend Linux, then Windows. OS X is in last place, it's an amateur

If now everything suits me, I would not change the system. There is an exit:

But if you take a laptop, you will either have to buy a licensed Windows or overpay for macOS.

In some stores, several laptops of the same model are presented, differing only in price - some are delivered to stores without a pre-installed OS. Some of them do not have any OS, some say "freeDos", and somewhere Linux is already preinstalled. So you can find yourself a laptop without overpayment.

OS X is perfect.
Windows is perfect but falls short of OS X.
Linux is out of the question.
