Opera VPN for iOS was released yesterday (05/09/2016).
It puts a certificate into the system, with the following parameters:

Type: IPSec
Server: ipsec.opera-ipsec.net

VPN is really fast, there is almost no difference with normal surfing, it uses DigitalOcean servers.
The question is, is it possible to somehow use it to let all traffic through the VPN, not only separately from mobile devices, but entirely from a home router? Ideally, given the list of banned sites and opening only them through VPN. The router has free firmware, you can install any packages and scripts.
Yes, you can buy your own VPS server from the same DigitalOcean and set up a VPN there, but you will have to pay a subscription.
And here is a completely free VPN server, as stated, without traffic restrictions. Much faster than other free VPNs.
