OpenWRT and TP-Link 741ND (reset settings)

Good evening Habra% USER%.
Trouble has come to my house.
A long time ago, when the trees were tall and the grass was green, I flashed my router as needed on OpenWRT. Even there is an article on Habré about this, not mine. The dark day of switching providers came, and for some reason I chose MTS. Their orcs - tuners came and poked the reset button of a defenseless device with a pen, at that difficult hour I was absent from the room where they were doing their dark ritual, and therefore I could not keep them from atrocity. Although the access password was known to the spouse, they politely refused her help.
As a result:
The device broadcasts with the old SSID, but does not give out addresses.
When you try to set up a static IP from the 192.168.1.* range and connect, it also fails, the connection is disconnected after a few seconds.
There is no web access or SSH, I don’t see any point in soldering an adapter for RS-232 because it’s MTS’s fault, and not mine, I’m trying to figure it out to eliminate the harm caused.
I am a happy owner of Intercross equipment, which does not distribute the network everywhere on the territory of the apartment (tablet and phone generally barely cling).
Question: Is there an option to revive without dancing with an adapter? Reset did not do it again (will it help?), While I'm still waiting for the grief of those support.

Issue resolved, diagnosis confirmed my suspicions. The animal died and must be replaced at the expense of the MTS company / employees.

First, demand compensation for the actions of the orcs. The reason may be the absence of the need to configure the equipment, if the spouse did not ask to do so. There was also no need to sign for the acceptance of the work.

Telnet should be used, not SSH.
