OpenSource: how do you choose projects and get involved in it?
I have a desire to develop any open source project in my free time. There is little experience of participating in such projects, mostly they were bug fixes. I didn’t particularly like projects in their essence, so it turned out that I “went and quit”.
I want to find something interesting, for a long time, but the search does not give anything. Out of habit, I look through the list of issues, see that I actually have nothing to do here, and leave, even if the project is of interest.
How are you looking for projects?

Maxim, good afternoon. If you have experience, what prevents you from organizing the OS yourself? As for the choice of OS projects, for me personally, personal relationships with the founders and the very atmosphere within the project are a priority. Such projects either appear by themselves or through acquaintances.
