Hello. I had a task to write a chat on the site, something like VKontakte (widget in the corner of the page). Tell me, please, are there any ready-made solutions for implementing the front-end part of this task?
Those. I need a javascript widget that can receive / send messages using some protocol (most likely the usual LongPolling), draw them and draw a list of contacts / form.
Requirements for it: work with group chats and with individual contacts, text messaging.
Maybe there is something open source or even paid, suitable for my task? If writing a backend is not a problem for me, then this amount of javascript will most likely make me sick.
