OpenOffice and its readonly

Good evening everyone!
I want to ask if it is possible to do, and how, so that open office in read-only mode allows you to do some things that ms office allows you to do in the same mode? Namely: copy text, change the width of the cells and change the scale in print preview mode.
His ridonly is very annoying.

@Mansiper

LibreOffice 3.3 allows you to copy. The rest did not check (it was not necessary).
It is likely that it will replace OpenOffice.org - a reason to switch.
