"C-like languages" is somehow very vague. I believe that you were interested in C and C++.
Then I'll add to all the previous ones:
- Anjuta. Can only be used when you have a makefile based project. Advantages - very modest memory requirements.
- MonoDevelop can also be used for C / C ++, although in this case it is not the best choice
- for me personally, by a combination of factors, it seems the most convenient for a Netbeans beginner.
