Online store - why do developers write default parameters in GET (when clicking the appropriate buttons)? Why don't they just remove them?
Hello.
Look, for example, at the online store "Sportmaster":
https://www.sportmaster.ru/catalog/muzhskaya_odezh...
When you open this link, a catalog of goods on the first page is displayed. But if I click on the two, and then again on the one - where the pages are selected. My products will show the same ones, but "?page=1" will be added to the url. The same goes for sorting.
Tell me why is this done? Why isn't the GET parameter simply removed when returning to the first page?
Does this make any sense? How can I do better?

Well, this is done from the laziness of the programmer, in which case it is easier to write the code, there are no conditions and restrictions, just a cycle. But if you personally solve this problem, then it’s better to remove it, it will bring you some karma from SEO
