On which framework to make your own CMS for an entertainment site?
There is an infotainment site on Wordpress + plugins + a bunch of their own functional improvements. Content is mainly news, stories, collections, tests. With the growth of needs, it became crowded and uncomfortable in this CMS. Yes, if you wish, you can do almost everything in Wordpress, but sometimes it doesn’t turn out as convenient as you would like, so I would like to develop my own CMS with only the necessary functionality and an intuitively simple and understandable interface for editors.
In search of a ready-made similar solution, I found this:
buzzy.akbilisim.com
Admin Panel
Email: [email protected]
Password: demoadmin
A good admin panel, layout of different types of posts, tests, polls, and a lot of all sorts of useful goodies is conveniently organized. Made as I understand it on Laravel. As an option, I don’t specifically consider this CMS, because again, some of this functionality will not be needed, but something will need to be added, plus the developer has recently had problems with updating and maintenance.
As I understand it, it is optimal to implement such a CMS on some PHP framework.
Tell me what is better to use for such a task: Laravel, YII, or something else? Maybe there are some ready-made start-up solutions for the subsequent expansion of functionality?
