On which cms to order the development of a selling site-catalog. 3 categories, +-70 items for sale and rent?

We worked with joomla, wordpress, open cart, the sites on them turn out like a hut from improvised materials in which there is a lot of garbage, key elements are propped up with "branches" everything seems to work but breathes in order, and filling it with content turns into a boring and uninteresting quest.
What cms to choose, so that everything would be for people, like in osx or ios? And not necessarily free.

MODX has not been tried yet.
It seems to be still fashionable.

For a small catalog site (without sales functions), IMHO, there is no need for a self-written version.
I recommend trying APIQ CMS - there is an extension specifically for the catalog site.
Example sites on it:

  • dimish-furniture.ru
