On what CMS to do an online store for 10-40 thousand products?

I have always made online stores on WooCommerce, but there is one drawback - 1500 products take up 1.5 GB of space and 90 MB of database. I think at 10 thousand WordPress will just fall.
Therefore, you need a CMS designed for large volumes, like OpenCart or even Bitrix. Who faced the development of such large online stores? What to pay attention to first of all and what to shop on?

This is not a burden for modern DBMS.

10-40 thousand is not much. OpenCart will pull quietly. But it also depends on the hardware.
1.5 GB of space and 90 MB of database. Well, is it the size? :)

For such a quantity, a source is needed. Usually 1s.
It is better to choose something more or less serious. CS-Cart or Bitrix.

OpenCart
If the budget allows and you need an exchange with 1c - Bitrix definitely

It is better not to use Wordpress for a catalog site and an online store. It was originally developed for blogging.
If the budget is small, then I advise Opencart ( https://www.opencart.com/).
If the budget is average, then I advise ezCatalogCMS ( https://ez-catalog.ru/ezcatalogcms-about.html). On it, for my clients under 60,000 products on a regular site hosting, it works quickly.
