On what basis to build a computer?

Good afternoon. On the eve of my birthday, I thought about assembling a new PC.
I assembled myself approximately the following configuration:
Processor INTEL Core i7 6800K
Motherboard ASUS STRIX X99 GAMING
Memory module CORSAIR Vengeance LPX CMK32GX4M2A2666C16 DDR4 - 8 X 16GB
ASUS GeForce GTX 1070, TURBO-GTX1070-8G 2 pcs.
+ PCI SSD.
Of the main wishes - 128GB of RAM, because. many virtual machines are spinning for development + to play around.
The entire system unit costs approximately 200,000 rubles, in connection with this I would like to clarify whether it is right to assemble a system unit on such a base, since I heard that the processors are new, but even newer Intel's stones should be released this year. I'm going to take the computer in the middle of summer, what do you say - wait for new processors or assemble it on this base?
Thank you.

Firstly, you definitely don't need 128 gigabytes of memory, it's an absolutely pointless waste of money. 32 is enough, believe me. Virtual machines are able to memory ballooning, with it you can run about a thousand instances of the same type of virtual machines on 128 gigabytes of memory. Why you might need it ... I'll never know.
Secondly, the GTX 1070 in SLI just doesn't make sense after the 1080Ti came out. Same money, same performance, less frying, less noise, less power supply needed, no bus sync lag, fewer points of failure. In which case, you can buy a second 1080Ti later, but you will have to change the processor, because this will not have enough PCIe lanes.
Asus Strix is a very dubious overpayment for show-offs and colored LEDs.
Prots, if you really need to work, it's better to take Xeon 2683 v3 from eBay. Same money, but 14 cores and 40 PCIe lanes versus 28 for the 6800k. You can trick the bios, overclock it to 3.1 GHz with an unlocked turbo boost. As a result, this percent, at a price of 20k, freely makes the ten-core i7-6950X for 100 thousand rubles on multi-core tasks.

It seems that the 6th generation of intel supports 64 GB of RAM.
Has something already changed?
If not, then you should look towards server chipsets, not gaming ones.
