On programming courses from scratch and subsequent admission to a university?

Hello, please tell me which courses are better to go first to learn JAVA from scratch with the subsequent study of other languages, knowledge can be said to be zero with programming, but I quickly pick up everything and have a great desire, I communicate with a computer on you, there is also a little knowledge in HTML I understand that this is not a programming language.
Chose JAVA, because. According to reviews, it is better to start with it for beginners.
Also, for self-study, I want to study at home using some kind of video courses, etc.
I myself graduated from economics at RUDN University, but I regretted a thousand times that I did not go into programming, so I want to fulfill my dream and earn my living from this in the future.
I thought at first to sign up for courses at specialist.ru at Bauman, if you recommend others, I will be glad or feedback about these courses at Bauman.
Thanks to.

Good afternoon! In fact, you need to choose a programming language based on what you want to do. Java is good for mobile development for android. The backend is sometimes written in Java, but more often in python. By the way, python is also a fairly easy language to learn, in some schools it is given for learning after Kumir. And python is more versatile, you can write games on it, and produce data analysis, and train neural networks :) If you have knowledge in the field of economics, you should probably think in the direction of data analysis. You can get acquainted with the profession on the Yandex.Practice platform. There is a course there, the first few topics are free, you can try and evaluate the teaching methodology. There are also courses in other professions, for example, in front-end development: your knowledge of html will come in handy here. Free courses are available in all areas, you can try everything. I am currently finishing their course on web development, I am very pleased with the knowledge gained and the projects completed. Unfortunately, there are no Java lessons there yet. Personally, when I studied this language, I watched lectures on YouTube - there is a lot about mobile development
