What to learn from the beginning Architecture or OS?

Hello, I would like to study more deeply what I work on. I study at the university, but there is not much time, so there is doubt about where to start. Will I be able to properly understand the work of operating systems without a deep knowledge of architecture.
There is a book "Modern operating systems" available and I would like to start with it.

Learning architecture at a "deep level" will take a lifetime.
Therefore, learn both the architecture and the OS at the same time, gradually understanding what and how.
There is a book - start. Is it really that long to read a book? Spend less time asking irrelevant questions, more time reading.

Start with the book "CODE. The Secret Language of Computer Science". This is the best introduction to architecture. So interesting that even my wife liked it.
