On an Acer Nitro AN517-51 laptop, when installing Linux Mint, the SSD is not visible. What to do?
Hi all!
I bought a laptop, EFI Shell version 2.60 starts at startup
. I decided to install Linux Mint. But during the installation it sees only a USB flash drive, it does not see the SSD.
The SSD is detected in the BIOS.
Who can faced it?

I have an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54, I also had this situation, go to the BIOS on the Security-Set Administrator Password tab, then on the Boot tab and disable the security boot, then again on the Security tab, press Ctrl + S, the hidden Sata item should appear, change mode on AHCI, save, and boot from the installation flash drive. After installation, I had such a nuance - WiFi did not work, I had to connect the phone with a cable in USB modem mode and download updates, including the kernel. and after that everything worked.
1. Update the BIOS.
2. Do it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTfN0dhmYuM
