I wanted to use the old smart as a GPS beacon in the car with sending coordinates via SMS / Internet. Tested in autumn. Now it's winter -19 outside. How will smart behave at such temperatures? I'm worried about the battery. Not even for the battery itself, but so that it does not damage the car with an explosion or something else
. The instructions say

Use your phone in temperatures between -20°C and +50°C. Store the battery at a temperature between 0 and +40 °C

That is, it is possible to -20 or will the battery die at a negative temperature?
The second option is to use smart without a battery, only from charging. But he didn't work that way. (Samsung Gio 5660).
I don't want to buy a separate device. In our "village" it is not available, it is silly to order from China, it seems like there are bans on such equipment.
