Hello, I installed Mint Xfce and there was a problem, all the volumes that were in win 8 remained as read-only

well, for example, the system is written to connect undescribed partitions on the disk in ridonly mode. so she hooks them up.
see how they are listed in /etc/fstab
see .mount units
, etc.

The problem is that the standard Linux driver can't write to NTFS volumes! If you want to read-write, then use NTFS-3G, it really works in userspace and you will have to mount it manually through the console - https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NTFS-3G_(Russian)

Windows was not turned off, but hibernation.
You need to load Windows and turn it off. It seems that the simplest thing is to send the system to reboot and load linux already.
