Distant work

Official employment at a distance - an exception or a rule?

Good afternoon.
I want to fulfill my cherished dream - to leave the office remotely, especially since this is the only way for an IT specialist from the outback to rise above 30-40k.
But the three companies that responded to my responses refused official employment. In one, they suggested that I issue an IP for official relations.
So I want to know - is this a common practice for remote work, or have I just come across such companies?

From experience I can say 30/30/30 somewhere. 30% official employment, 30% through individual entrepreneurs and 30% without registration at all. Who are the other 10%? Scammers! :)

Making an IP and a contract is a normal situation. Especially if the company undertakes the design and maintenance of IP (which often happens in outsourcing, where 90% of employees are IP).
But it’s also normal to work under a contract when you are an individual entrepreneur.
But a completely official employment as a full-time employee, in which you are not in the office, do not live in the city, and you simply cannot come and sign documents - this, of course, also happens, but not often.

Absolutely normal and normal practice for 2018.
If you are going to make an individual entrepreneur, do it through the Elba or My Business service, where the robot will prepare all the documents for opening an individual entrepreneur and send everything to the tax office for you. And then the same robot will keep track of taxes, notifying you about every sneeze, will automatically prepare all payments, reports and send it all to the tax office by email. form. All that remains for you is to connect the client-bank to their services (therefore, immediately look not only at the rates of banks for maintaining an IP account, but also who has native integration with Elba or My Business) or import a bank statement - so that the services know about the movement money in accounts.
Previously, even in the Elba, there was also a free 1 year for new individual entrepreneurs, as now - I don’t know.

I changed 3 remote companies, everywhere there was registration and a white salary.
If you register as an individual entrepreneur, do not forget to take into account taxes, and the fact that contractors are not paid sick leave and vacation pay, so you need to ask for more than in the case of an employee's salary.

I work through IP, it's very convenient. You just sign contracts from time to time and you're done. Now many companies are moving to this type of relationship.

Yes, this is a completely normal situation. For 5 years I worked as an individual entrepreneur for other offices (even for a foreign country).
TK allows remote work, but they do it very rarely (it’s understandable: there are a lot of taxes).

There are two false facts here.
For:
1) You still need to find a good job and remotely. The competition is higher, because a person can work from anywhere in the world.
2) In a remote province, a qualified IT specialist can easily raise 100-150 thousand rubles. You don't have to be particularly lucky to do this. More - yes, it's luck and special skills to hang noodles on your ears.
But the three companies that responded to my responses refused official employment. In one, they suggested that I issue an IP for official relations.
But was it definitely a remote permanent job, and not freelancing in the form of separate orders?
So I want to know - is this a common practice for remote work, or have I just come across such companies?
Through IP - quite a normal and common.

As far as I understand, it is extremely unlikely to get a job officially in the state remotely?

I'll put in my 5 kopecks:
1. If you work through an individual entrepreneur, then at rates higher than 10 percent.
2. Working through a work book is more interesting than not formalized at all.
3. Between labor and individual entrepreneurs, I would choose an individual entrepreneur if there are a lot of customers and money. If the customer is one, then by labor.
In general, all three options are the norm, as Malysheva says. And all three have pros and cons.

I have not come across, but IMHO you need to be the employer's brother / matchmaker so that he can trust you so much - not being able to control whether you work or not, pay you a salary :)

In addition to the option with an individual entrepreneur, I have never had the opportunity to work remotely normally, mainly under a mythical contract. It seems that IP is more practical, because you can work for more than one company.
