OcStore 3 vs Opencart 3 original. themeforest template?

1. For themeforest template, which version is better to download: original or ocStore 3?

2. Is ocStore 3 really better than the original - they write that the functionality of the original is greatly expanded. Really taking the original will not get the functionality?

3. Do I understand correctly that ocStore is its own development branch and there may be incompatibilities with templates made for the original?

ocStore is made for the CIS, something has been fixed, maybe they threw out an extra paypal type, but there are no fundamental differences
