The demand for mobile applications is growing, it is not very difficult to find a job, even I found a job at the age of 17. Now I am programming on Android (Java), but I also plan to develop for IOS, why not? If you started learning Java, keep learning, it's a good language to enter the world of programming :) If you start to more or less master Java, you will easily relearn Objective-C.
And yes, Java has the possibility of web development, this is Java EE, but as far as I know, Objectiv C does not have such an opportunity
