Obfuscation of PHP code for free - is it real?
The script uses my APIs to the maximum, but I need to somehow hide the handlers and stuff from the user's eyes.
Are there any good ways to obfuscate PHP code without problems and headaches?
Downloaded Zend Guard 7.0 something was not impressive

Will not work. Move more logic to your API, enter keys for clients to use.
Ioncube has an Online Encoder for 0.5 bucks, I fed files up to 30KB (this is more than enough to check the license and several objects that are critical for the entire script to work)
If it is an obfuscator, then: https://github.com/naneau/php-obfuscator
