Nvidia GeForce GT 555M and UltraHD (4K) resolution?
Given:
Asus N75S laptop with Nvidia GeForce GT 555M; OS Windows 7 64 Home Premium SP1; driver 350.12-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international (latest as of May 11);
An additional monitor with a physical resolution of 3640x2140 (UltraHD / 4K, Samsung UE40JU6400) is connected via HDMI;
Desktop only on monitor 2;
In the screen settings, no higher than 1920x1080 is available;
In the NVIDIA Control Panel, no higher than 1920x1080 is available;
In the NVIDIA Control Panel -> Create custom resolution -> create 3640x2160 -> the monitor switches to 4K mode, everything is fine, you can work;
I reboot -> 4K resolution is not available anywhere again ... Again, you need to manually climb into Create a custom extension.
Actually the question is: what to do so that at least a resolution of 3640x2160 is available? Ideally, and loaded in this resolution.
