Not creating a WebRTC connection in an inactive tab?

In an inactive tab, it is not possible to accept a new webrtc connection.
Already installed seem to work (but will this change in the future?).
Question: Is there a way to establish a new webrtc connection. in an inactive tab? (webkit)
