Node.js book recommendations in action?

My regards.
Stumbled upon the book node.js in action. Already started reading.
And suddenly puzzled himself with the question - Is it worth reading this book? And is it relevant?
It's still a 2014 book. A lot could have changed in more than two years.
Before that, I watched screencasts from Kantor.
As a result, I was able to make a simple long-polling chat.
Further, based on his screencasts, I began to make a full-fledged chat on express.js + socket.io + ...;
Lots of old stuff. It takes a lot of time to understand how to implement this or that functionality, taking into account modern express. And in the end, I didn’t watch his screencasts until the very end. But the basics for node.js are already there.
In general, I'm confused.
Maybe there is more up-to-date literature?
I would also like to know your opinion about the Node.js book. Technology guide.

Yes, that's the biggest problem - outdated stuff. But, you can get a fresh one only by reading the documentation.
The conclusion is simple: read what is, and then read the documentation
