No picture on monitor from VGA to HDMI?

Welcome all. In general, I bought a new computer and thought that I would play 24/7, but something did not work out. I knew in advance that I needed to buy an adapter and purchased an adapter from VGA (my monitor connector) to HDMI. And everything would be fine, but only after the motherboard logo on the monitor is the inscription "power saving mode". If we switch to a safe solution, then everything is fine: the image is there, everything works OK. But from resolutions there are only 800*600 and 1024*768. And no internet access. I have already ordered an adapter from VGA to DVI, maybe it will work like that because I don’t want to spend more money on a monitor. Maybe one of you had a similar problem or someone knows in advance - will a DVI adapter help me or will it be the same picture?)
Even in the screen settings, nvidia wrote that the DVI monitor connector, although I was connected via HDMI)

I just got this adapter. There are a lot of them, and they are all with a chip inside, apparently not very compatible with your video card / monitor (does not know the required screen resolution).
