Nginx push-stream-module is it possible to subscribe via POST request?

Hello, I recently discovered NGINX Push-stream-module . I made a small chat using this technology and I had a problem: in order to receive data from a channel, you need to subscribe to it via a GET request, this is the problem: if you receive too much text, the browser freezes. It is really illogical to receive a 2k character text via a GET request, it would be more logical to receive it via a POST request. But I tried to do this, it doesn't work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or is this impossible at all and the module only accepts GET requests?

Through get it is possible to receive any volumes. But you can not send a lot. So judging by the description of the problem, it's not the type of request, but something else.
