Nginx + Apache: do I need to add each domain to the config?

I plan to switch from shared hosting to a virtual VPS server. Sites about 20 pcs. (Several have ssl installed).
I realized that in order to optimize the load on the server and the normal operation of htaccess, you will have to configure ngnix (frontend) + apache (backend).
The question is: when adding new domains, will I have to edit the web server configs every time, or will it be enough to configure them once?
I'm asking a question because I couldn't find a clear answer in the manuals.

Try ISPmanager first - it's a web server control panel. In a few clicks you can add a website. If fine-tuning is required, no one hides the configs from you.
Many VPS hosts come with a web server pre-installed - find out if they have a VPS with Apache + Jinx pre-installed.
Yes, each time you should edit the config when adding a new site. If there is a control panel, then you can add it through the control panel.
If you decide to install a web server from scratch, I can throw off the config template for the Apache + Nginx bundle. Or a manual.
