I've been fighting adblock for three days now. If earlier they created rules for the site, now they have canceled all instructions https://easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org/ruadlis... in for my site and left one single one:

Now no ads are shown on the site, and there is even an ad container, but inside the container - just the content is not loaded.
What does it mean?
PS Of course, I am for the development of the adblock project, because. advertising is bad. but when you order the content yourself (creating subtitles, processing, paying translators) and, in the end, supporting the operation of the video server, you cannot survive without advertising. Just close the site. And our website is SDGL.

No need to impose advertising on users who deliberately block it. They are one of those who do not like aggressive advertising, so there will be no benefit for you anyway.
Many of these users (75%) simply leave the site when they see ads. And this negatively affects the promotion of the site. That is, the site will be lower in the search results, and this will already lead to an outflow of ordinary users who watch ads. In the end, in the CIS only about 10% of the audience cuts advertising (in Russia - 6%).
Better think, for example, how to improve the site on mobile devices. There will be more sense, since this is a large piece of the audience. I don't think things are going smoothly for you. Or have you already reached the level of YouTube? The next stage is the release of applications for iOS and Android. Then marketing, etc., and not the fight against the adblock.
