New integrated video or old discrete (HD 630 vs HD5670)?
Bought a new computer on the i7-7700, with built-in Intel HD 630 video, from the old computer there was an ATI HD5670 card (GV-R567OC-1GI). According to the benchmark chart, the chipset is 200 points higher ... The question is whether it makes sense to put an old video card in a new computer or its performance is completely absorbed by the chipset. What are the pros and cons of this solution?
PS. RAM 32 GB DDR4

I'd say the difference would be minimal. If you try to figure it out in detail, then discrete memory may turn out to be faster, but this needs to be checked. Even if this is so, then the increase will be in a matter of percentages, if not even tenths of a percent.
There is no point, given that a discrete card will make noise, consume electricity and heat up additionally.
