Netgear switches and RSTP operation in the case of optics. How does it work?
There are two old Netgear GS724TS switches. At the moment they are interconnected via "sfp-port to sfp-port" optics. And here the question of fault tolerance arose. In the case of RJ45, everything would be clear and simple - we connect the switches with two utp cables, RSTP comes into play and disables the second communication channel until the first one falls. But in the case of optics, with the "two sfp ports to 2 sfp ports" scheme, will the same RSTP logic work?
