I use acer aspire one with ubuntu, it works fine, the screen diagonal is 11. A budget netbook with not bad characteristics.

I have an Asus Eee PC 1005 PE. Ubuntu started up perfectly without dancing with a tambourine, everything works. With a 5.8 Ah(63Wh) battery, autonomy is 8-10 hours.
I use Lenovo S205 with Fedora, except for dancing with a tambourine around radeon, then no problems, but in Ubuntu with proprietary drivers things are better than in FC, so I think there will be no problems.
