Use both, and then choose the one that suits you best.
I used NetBeans before, then PhpStorm. Now I use only Sublime Text.

I wouldn't recommend starting with Sublime Text. For beginners, JetBrains products will be good companions and teachers. The main thing is to read what they advise.
