Need some advice on customizing a custom date field?
Whether it will be correct to make up such element through selects? It's just that then you need to set too many values, but at the same time, the select is the most convenient for mobile devices.

On mobile, it's best to use native elements rather than selects. The benefit is well supported.
And for desktops, you can make a fallback on selects.
You can't do without javascript, but nothing complicated.
