Nas with your own hands. Similar to Openfiler and Freenas?

Are there worthy analogues of these two systems?


The first one is not suitable due to the lack of flexibility and the need to finish everything manually (conary in which there are no smbclient packages, modules for the pearl are not compiled)
The second one is due to problems with samba (authorization) and slow speed (5-6mb)
