Oracle has such an Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL 5.0 Developer certification . Someone gave it away? Is it worth it or is it a waste of time and money?

It is better for a PHP programmer to pass the Zend certification, it also includes working with the database.

I think that certification from the "manufacturer" of the product will have some weight. Like Zend's from php.
