Music program
Hello, dear Khabrovites!
I am writing a program that receives some information/parameters as input, and the output should be notes. Of course, the simplest is a file with notes in text form. But still, I would like to get a normal musical staff at the output.
Can you tell me if there is any program or maybe a web service for editing notes, in which you can enter notes by code, and not through the GUI?

I definitely recommend lilypond. You can also get MIDI and PDF from it. And in general, lilypond for notes is like TEX for text, and everything that is not enough for happiness and automation can be screwed on Scheme yourself. Rosegarden. By the way, you can use it as a GUI for lilypond, there is another, less sophisticated program for it - Frescobaldi, among other things, syntax highlighting is very convenient there.
Look towards the free MusixTeX, it can generate scores of any complexity, although it can be quite difficult to master (although the instructions are clear)
The universal format in this case is MIDI. It's not just about importing, but also about the fact that you can transfer notes from your program to another through a midi-loop.
MuseScore is a free multi-platform music score editor with a graphical interface
All musical software and equipment (iron synthesizers for example) support the MIDI format.
