How it all began: With the desire to finally install a normal multi-boot window + lion, which would be started by a chameleon from the computer itself without the help of boot flash drives, disks, etc.

I solved a similar problem, at first I tried Acronis Os Selector, but for some reason it did not start - it loaded only the axis from the active partition. Well, then I found this . Tweaked a bit and it worked. I agree in advance - not the most elegant way, but there was no time to mess around.
Stop stop stop. I did not understand anything. You have hackintosh and windows on your laptop. Need to get a boot menu where you can select the OS to boot? Do you know what grub is? If yes, what is the problem? If not, what's the problem with Google?
If I understand your problem correctly, then other alternative loaders should help, with chameleon I myself did not manage to quickly make friends. I installed Boot Think v2.4.6.
When loading, there will be a choice between windows, from under which the bootloader was installed, or the launch of any other OS on other logical drives, it itself has win7 and snow leopard on the same hard drive.
